Always love visiting The Colour Shak, everyone is always so welcoming and attentive. Hannah was great explaining the process of my transformation and how we are going to achieve my ultimate end goal.
I always leave feeling relaxed and gorgeous after being pampered in the basin room with soothing music, gentle head massage and eye mask. But a highlight for me is my sneaky glass of wine and hand exfoliation treatment.

I am very sad to right this review. Today I had to change my appointment due to a change in a delivery from bay island transport coming to 12.30 pm instead of the morning. I wasn't notified by bay island transport I called them at 8.30 to check everything was OK to find it wasn't. I am sure other island clients will understand. I said I could come after 4pm. I rang the colorshack as soon as they opened and even though I have been a regular client since they opened in redland bay they wanted to charge me a rescheduling fee to re-book of 35 aud. Needless to say I was very disappointed as the circumstances were beyond my control. So beware. Even though I regularly spend between 200 to 300 a visit my business was not valued I was advised by the manager that if I try to book there again this fee would be added to my bill.
Please note I have not cancelled or rescheduled before at short notice, plus I did tried to reschedule later in the day.
I can’t recommend Eliza enough! From the moment I walked into the salon, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered valuable suggestions that truly enhanced the final look. The skill and attention to detail were evident in every step of the process.
Not only did I leave with a fantastic haircut and highlights, but I also felt pampered and valued as a client. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing, making each visit a delightful experience. If you're looking for someone who combines expertise with a personal touch, Eliza is the one to see!
Mel is a bright and bubbly hairdresser, great conversation throughout the whole process while cutting my hair perfectly. My hair is a little more challenging and not many can give my hair the soft look that she has. Thanks Mel!
