As our way of giving back to our community, we are proud sponsors of Rep basketball under 12’s Red City Roar, and we provide opportunities for our youth through school-based apprenticeships.
We are also affiliated with Hair Aid, a not for profit organisation who cut hair for the homeless, and travel to third world countries to train at-risk women and men to cut hair so they can support their families.

Love that my lovely hairdresser just know what I want and me leaving feeling refresehed after every visit. Absolutely love the new salon located in Redland Bay QLD. So worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.
I am very sad to right this review. Today I had to change my appointment due to a change in a delivery from bay island transport coming to 12.30 pm instead of the morning. I wasn't notified by bay island transport I called them at 8.30 to check everything was OK to find it wasn't. I am sure other island clients will understand. I said I could come after 4pm. I rang the colorshack as soon as they opened and even though I have been a regular client since they opened in redland bay they wanted to charge me a rescheduling fee to re-book of 35 aud. Needless to say I was very disappointed as the circumstances were beyond my control. So beware. Even though I regularly spend between 200 to 300 a visit my business was not valued I was advised by the manager that if I try to book there again this fee would be added to my bill.
Please note I have not cancelled or rescheduled before at short notice, plus I did tried to reschedule later in the day.
First time visiting the Colour Shak today. All of the staff were amazing and made me feel very at ease. Monique and Crystal were absolutely amazing and I am so in love with my hair. Will definitely be returning soon ❤️
Highly recommend this salon! The staff were so lovely and accommodating! I came out absolutely loving my hair! It was done to perfection. I couldn’t be happier! Eliza is an absolute master of hairdressing! So much knowledge and skill. It was such a personalised experience I will always be coming back!
Amazing salon!!! Hannah thinned/restyled my hair and was incredibly personable, and watching her work and take her time with my hair was definitely not something I’ve encountered much in the past from other hairdressers. Ambience was amazing, and watching staff and clients interact with each other made this feel like such a warm space that everyone genuinely enjoys being in
