I am very sad to right this review. Today I had to change my appointment due to a change in a delivery from bay island transport coming to 12.30 pm instead of the morning. I wasn't notified by bay island transport I called them at 8.30 to check everything was OK to find it wasn't. I am sure other island clients will understand. I said I could come after 4pm. I rang the colorshack as soon as they opened and even though I have been a regular client since they opened in redland bay they wanted to charge me a rescheduling fee to re-book of 35 aud. Needless to say I was very disappointed as the circumstances were beyond my control. So beware. Even though I regularly spend between 200 to 300 a visit my business was not valued I was advised by the manager that if I try to book there again this fee would be added to my bill. Please note I have not cancelled or rescheduled before at short notice, plus I did tried to reschedule later in the day.

Had a lovely wash & blow dry today. First visit at the Colour Shak salon. Great experience & lovely atmosphere. Recommend this salon and all the staff are very friendly & helpful.

Hannah has Hannah has the hands of a true magician!!!! I had the most amazing day having the most pampered, luxurious hair appointment. From the colour, cut and style EVERYTHING and I mean everything was truly beautiful. I walked out feeling like a completely new woman. The staff are like friends you have known for years. The best and I absolutely mean the BEST EVER!!!!!

Mel took such wonderful care of my hair - her skill with colour and balayage is magical and handling my thick and coarse hair to give me such a lovely haircut - I’m so very grateful. The amazing Eliza managed to squeeze me in without an appointment. She did a fenominal job. I love my colour. Eliza knew exactly how to handle my hair type. Excellent service throughout the experience by all the staff and I was pampered all the way. Already rebooked!!!!

Amazing salon!!! Hannah thinned/restyled my hair and was incredibly personable, and watching her work and take her time with my hair was definitely not something I’ve encountered much in the past from other hairdressers. Excellent service! I had a splendid day! They had so many extra touches to really make you feel special. They were professional and clearly communicated their plans and the whys/hows. I adore the results and it is so close to the reference photo.
