As our way of giving back to our community, we are proud sponsors of Rep basketball under 12’s Red City Roar, and we provide opportunities for our youth through school-based apprenticeships.
We are also affiliated with Hair Aid, a not for profit organisation who cut hair for the homeless, and travel to third world countries to train at-risk women and men to cut hair so they can support their families.

Tia is my awesome hair expert, she knows just what to do to make my hair (& me) look & feel amazing! She is magic with a pair of scissors and really brings out the best in my hair and is officially my hair dresser of choice. The after care advice and products they offer are well thought out and suitable for my hair type and style (they don’t try and upsell expensive useless products). I highly recommend The Colour Shak for colours, treatments and cuts.

Highly recommend. Short notice appt for hair wash by Krystal in her apprentice yrs, relaxing head massage, wash and beautiful blow dry, very professional and attentive. What an uplifting space to be in, great vibe, happy customers and staff such a treat. It ended too soon! Thanks ladies.
Hannah did such an amazing job on my hair, I've finally acheived the colour I have wanted for so long. Hannah is incredible at what she does and I could not be happier with the results she achieved, and my hair is so soft! 100% recommend the Colour Shak!

My experience at Colour Shak, a haircut, was pleasant enough. As a male I prefer not to go to barbers and the Colour Shak did a great job on my hair and the hairdresser was very pleasant and attentive. However I discovered later that I could have had a wash which was within the price but not mentioned. Then when I was charged, a few dollars was added to my bill. This was for the owners own beliefs in conservation and 'saving the planet'. I should be given a choice as the owners politics aren't necessarily shared by others.
