As our way of giving back to our community, we are proud sponsors of Rep basketball under 12’s Red City Roar, and we provide opportunities for our youth through school-based apprenticeships.
We are also affiliated with Hair Aid, a not for profit organisation who cut hair for the homeless, and travel to third world countries to train at-risk women and men to cut hair so they can support their families.

Spacious, set in a lovely and relaxing yet professional atmosphere. The basin area is AMAZiNG - private from the work stations that you feel like you’re in a separate treatment room away from the buzz..New addition of hand scrub for colour packages is a lovely, unique touch. Highly recommend to all of my local friends!

Having moved to this area recently, I needed a fabulous hairdresser who understood my type of hair and the challenges I face. I found The Colour Shak online and have been very impressed with their service. The staff are warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable. Tia is my awesome hair expert, she knows just what to do to make my hair (& me) look & feel amazing! She is magic with a pair of scissors and really brings out the best in my hair and is officially my hair dresser of choice. The after care advice and products they offer are well thought out and suitable for my hair type and style (they don’t try and upsell expensive useless products). I highly recommend The Colour Shak for colours, treatments and cuts.

My experience at The Colour Shak, was absolutely amazing! My new hairdresser!! I’ve known Hannah since school and I’m so glad I found her. The magic that she worked on my hair, I can not fault her in anything. They care about the health and condition of your hair and will not do things that will ruin your hair, instead they will work with you to achieve your desired hair goal. I have recently come to Colour Shak after having a bad experience with another hairdresser where they over-processed my hair. Colour shak were able to fit me in very last minute and were able to repair the damage which I am so grateful for! Their professionalism and teamwork were amazing and I couldn’t recommend them more! Highly recommend. Short notice appt for hair wash by Krystal in her apprentice yrs, relaxing head massage, wash and beautiful blow dry, very professional and attentive. What an uplifting space to be in, great vibe, happy customers and staff such a treat. It ended too soon! Thanks ladies.
