As our way of giving back to our community, we are proud sponsors of Rep basketball under 12’s Red City Roar, and we provide opportunities for our youth through school-based apprenticeships.
We are also affiliated with Hair Aid, a not for profit organisation who cut hair for the homeless, and travel to third world countries to train at-risk women and men to cut hair so they can support their families.

Bella was very professional and friendly, I felt at ease with her from our first POC when I booked the appt in person with her. She was very easy to communicate with, she listened and explained the salons services and processes as it was my first visit. Although it's a quite a bit more expensive than what I like to pay, the salon seems high end with how you are treated and the hand scrub/treatment was a nice touch. Loved my foils and blow dry and very happy with the outcome. Have booked for a blow-dry next week for a wedding. Thank you🤗
It was my first time visiting The Colour Shak and I wasn’t 100% sure of what I wanted. After having a chat with Tia, I felt confident to leave my hair in her hands and I’m so happy I did! Tia nailed it and I’m so very happy with the results.
I made an appointment for my mum and Kim & Hannah looked after her. They made her look beautiful and treated her like a queen. Nothing was too much. Kim was so understanding about having to change the appointment time. I 100% recommend these beautiful ladies to do anyone’s hair, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend. Short notice appt for hair wash by Krystal in her apprentice yrs, relaxing head massage, wash and beautiful blow dry, very professional and attentive. What an uplifting space to be in, great vibe, happy customers and staff such a treat. It ended too soon! Thanks ladies.

Always love visiting The Colour Shak, everyone is always so welcoming and attentive. Hannah was great explaining the process of my transformation and how we are going to achieve my ultimate end goal.
I always leave feeling relaxed and gorgeous after being pampered in the basin room with soothing music, gentle head massage and eye mask. But a highlight for me is my sneaky glass of wine and hand exfoliation treatment.

Amazing experience during a 9hr colour correction. Eliza is amazing and listens to your needs whilst keeping you informed of the process step by step. My hair looks and feels amazing. All the staff at the salon are so welcoming and friendly. 💯 recommend The Colour Shak if you want your hair to look and feel amazing. No damage and no breakage, very happy!
