As our way of giving back to our community, we are proud sponsors of Rep basketball under 12’s Red City Roar, and we provide opportunities for our youth through school-based apprenticeships.
We are also affiliated with Hair Aid, a not for profit organisation who cut hair for the homeless, and travel to third world countries to train at-risk women and men to cut hair so they can support their families.

Lovely employees and my hair looks amazing
My experience at Colour Shak, a haircut, was pleasant enough. As a male I prefer not to go to barbers and the Colour Shak did a great job on my hair and the hairdresser was very pleasant and attentive. However I discovered later that I could have had a wash which was within the price but not mentioned. Then when I was charged, a few dollars was added to my bill. This was for the owners own beliefs in conservation and 'saving the planet'. I should be given a choice as the owners politics aren't necessarily shared by others.
The whole experience was wonderful. The staff are experienced, friendly and happy to offer suggestions to achieve what you want. The salon itself is modern, spacious and relaxed.
I am extremely happy with my style cut and colour and am looking forward to my return visit.

I am so impressed with the Colour Shak. My hair was in a terrible state, due to an unusual experience by someone else. These ladies repaired my hair. It us now shiny and soft again. Hannah has Hannah has the hands of a true magician!!!! I had the most amazing day having the most pampered, luxurious hair appointment. From the colour, cut and style EVERYTHING and I mean everything was truly beautiful. I walked out feeling like a completely new woman. The staff are like friends you have known for years.
