Tia gets my number one vote for my hair wash and scalp massage experience! I was left alone for a few restful minutes afterwards, wearing a hot towel and an eye mask, listening to relaxing music. My only thought was, ‘I hope I don’t snore!’.
My experience at Colour Shak, a haircut, was pleasant enough. As a male I prefer not to go to barbers and the Colour Shak did a great job on my hair and the hairdresser was very pleasant and attentive. However I discovered later that I could have had a wash which was within the price but not mentioned. Then when I was charged, a few dollars was added to my bill. This was for the owners own beliefs in conservation and 'saving the planet'. I should be given a choice as the owners politics aren't necessarily shared by others.
First time visiting the Colour Shak and it was fantastic. Lucy made me feel very comfortable and listened to what I wanted and delivered perfectly. Service and experience was 10/10, I’ve already booked my next appointment 😊
I modeled for nanoplasty today and the entire experience was the best I've ever had at a salon. Same beautiful hairstylist the entire way through which was amazing. Beautiful other ladies popping over to say hello and to ask if drinks need topping up.
Now i went with my 8 week old baby and was expecting a terrible time and stares from clients if I couldn't keep her quiet. This procedure takes 3.5-4hrs and I've never had her in one place for that long. Well for 1 she was actually very well behaved and wanted to watch everything, but I also had some helping hands from one of the lovely stylists who would hold bub while i was having my hair washed out...a small gesture but huge for me to have some alone time.
The salon was extremely clean and light and airy and you could tell staff morale was high. A lovely experience and I'll definitely be back.

My daughter is a great hairdresser in Castle Hill, NSW so they had a lot to live up to.
I can honestly say that I am not disappointed, Eliza is great, happy to indulge me and come up with great ideas when I am wanting a change.

The whole experience was wonderful. The staff are experienced, friendly and happy to offer suggestions to achieve what you want. The salon itself is modern, spacious and relaxed.
I am extremely happy with my style cut and colour and am looking forward to my return visit.
Hannah is a amazing hair stylist . So friendly and done a amazing job!!!! She went above and beyond duty. All the other ladies were absolutely Fabulous as well! My personal rating for all the staff is 1000/10. I felt like a million dollars after the appointment.
Tia is amazing , I’m made to feel really special every time I come in . I love how she works with my very fine hair to get the best style for my features . Such a talented professional. I always love my hair coming out of the salon One of my favourite experiences is the basin the music is so relaxing and I’m wrapped in a blanket with an eye mask I usually fall asleep .
The ladies are very friendly and helpful. It’s a positive and relaxing experience being at the Colour Shak. Definitely recommended.
