Eliza has been doing my hair since she owned her own salon. Have always followed her wherever possible to salons she works in. She is a one in a million hairdresser that when you find them you just know it and also knkw you will be looked after with ideas etc... Well tonight she excelled anything that she has done before. I became the centre of attention for all the staff and clients to see the end result of the colour and it turned out to be the best yet of any colourings that I have had done. Thank you Eliza for my hair and to Kai for the waxing. 11 out of 10 Eliza and you should be so proud. I wished I had taken a pic of your face when you showed me the finished result and how stoked and speechless (in an awesome way)I was. Will never stop going to the Colour Shak as even the other stylists treat you like you have known them forever and they make you feel welcome and at home.

Hannah asked about my hair and how I treat it, she listened, and she clearly explained what she was going to do and why. And the head massage was amazing, thank you.

Hannah saved me!! After falling victim to a hair massacre at another salon both with my colour and cut I was recommended the Colour Shak and what an awesome recommendation it was. After suffering at the hands of someone who should not be a hair dresser I was nervous but Hannah put me at complete ease. She is knowledgeable, talented and damn good at what she does. I can't wait to go back for my colour to be done. The salon is beautiful too. What a find. I'm stoked.

Highly recommend. Short notice appt for hair wash by Krystal in her apprentice yrs, relaxing head massage, wash and beautiful blow dry, very professional and attentive. What an uplifting space to be in, great vibe, happy customers and staff such a treat. It ended too soon! Thanks ladies.

I made an appointment for my mum and Kim & Hannah looked after her. They made her look beautiful and treated her like a queen. Nothing was too much. Kim was so understanding about having to change the appointment time. I 100% recommend these beautiful ladies to do anyone’s hair, you will not be disappointed. You’ll walk out feeling like a million dollars. Thank you Kim and Hannah.

I modeled for nanoplasty today and the entire experience was the best I've ever had at a salon. Same beautiful hairstylist the entire way through which was amazing. Beautiful other ladies popping over to say hello and to ask if drinks need topping up. Now i went with my 8 week old baby and was expecting a terrible time and stares from clients if I couldn't keep her quiet. This procedure takes 3.5-4hrs and I've never had her in one place for that long. Well for 1 she was actually very well behaved and wanted to watch everything, but I also had some helping hands from one of the lovely stylists who would hold bub while i was having my hair washed out...a small gesture but huge for me to have some alone time. The salon was extremely clean and light and airy and you could tell staff morale was high. A lovely experience and I'll definitely be back.

First time client at the Colour Shak today and it was the best experience I have had at a salon before. The ladies are all so friendly and welcoming as soon as you step inside the door. The salon has a very warm and welcoming vibe and is nicely spaced out with relaxing basins at the back including soft music and a peaceful atmosphere to fall asleep to while you have your rinse and head massage. I had Monique as my colour expert and she was absolutely fantastic. I was a tricky client as I have long hair that needed some serious rejuvenation and I had to bring my five month old which I thought was going to be a disaster. Nothing was a bother and Monique was so accommodating and friendly and has some serious talent with wielding her colouring expertise to make this middle aged, tired mother of two feel human again. And to top it all off, it was very, very reasonably priced and I left feeling amazing and without feeling guilty for spending too much on myself! Thanks ladies, The Colour Shak is a fabulous hair salon and the ladies are a true asset to the industry! xo
