My experience at Colour Shak, a haircut, was pleasant enough. As a male I prefer not to go to barbers and the Colour Shak did a great job on my hair and the hairdresser was very pleasant and attentive. However I discovered later that I could have had a wash which was within the price but not mentioned. Then when I was charged, a few dollars was added to my bill. This was for the owners own beliefs in conservation and 'saving the planet'. I should be given a choice as the owners politics aren't necessarily shared by others.
Hannah and the girls from the colour shack are great! My hair has never been healthier. I’m loving my new blonde and I love the experience you get with the hand scrubs and yummy hot beverages.

When I went into enquire and book my appointment, I was greeted by the lovely Mel, who had such energy, I knew I was at the right hairdresser.
I have never had such a warm welcome before from a hairdresser. On the day of my appointment, the lovely Mel came over to me and made me feel so welcomed, like we were old friends. She took me through the process of my new hair style very thoroughly and then led me to have my hair washed.
That was an amazing experience in its self, I was so captivated and immersed in the calmness of it all, at how beautifully the young lady washed and massaged my scalp. I didn't expect the whole low lights and mystical music as well, along with the ergonomic reclining chair, that's what I call pampering!
Next I was in the hands of lovely Mel, who then slowly, while exchanging conversation with me with great enthusiasm, changed my hair style and brought new life to my hair.
I am pleased with my new hair style, which I believe will be easy to look after, and will be back for more great customer service, pampering and great attention to detail when I comes to haircuts. Thank you Mel and The Colour Shak- Janice Shirley

I had the privilege of being a Nanoplasty model with the lovely Kate at this gorgeous salon. Kate made the lengthy process so enjoyable, checking in, explaining the process and really just making sure I had the best experience possible.
I have the thickest hair ever and I'm incredibly fussy with who I will let cut, colour and touch my hair but I will definitely be back! The salon itself was super clean and all the other stylists were very friendly too! The vibe between stylists and the many other happy customers was great.

Tia is my awesome hair expert, she knows just what to do to make my hair (& me) look & feel amazing! She is magic with a pair of scissors and really brings out the best in my hair and is officially my hair dresser of choice. The after care advice and products they offer are well thought out and suitable for my hair type and style (they don’t try and upsell expensive useless products).
