With over 20 years’ industry experience, Kim purchased the salon 7+ years’ ago and has quickly built a standout reputation, winning-awards in the local community.

Her business smarts have enabled her to own a second salon, Victoria Point Barber Shak, where her team focus on men’s and kids cuts.

Kim values the importance of gorgeous hair, continually looking for new techniques and ideas, and sharing knowledge with her team, to ensure her clients leave the salon looking and feeling fabulous with every visit.

When she’s not trimming fringes, colouring or styling hair, you’ll find Kim giving back to the community, partnering with organisations such as Sustainable Salons and Hair Aid, sponsoring local sporting teams, and offering a rewards program to her loyal clients.

Hannah, Master Stylist and Salon Manager

Hannah has over 15 years of experience in the industry and specialises in all things blonde and natural lived-in colours. 

Hannah gets great satisfaction from pampering guests in our beautiful new salon and helping them unwind and relax, all while making their hair dreams a reality. Our guests keep Hannah’s passion and love for this ever-changing trade alive.

Monique, Master Stylist

Monique has been part of the Colour Shak team for the past 9 years.  A Master Stylist with over 20 years’ experience, Monique loves making clients feel good.  She has a natural creativity in all things hair, but her passion is vivid and colour makeovers.

As an emerging senior stylist based in Redland Bay, I’m incredibly passionate about all things hair. From lived-in blondes to fresh chops and colour transformations, I love creating styles that help my clients feel confident and beautiful. I’m hardworking, compassionate, and always eager to learn—whether it’s mastering a new technique in the salon or trialling late-night hair masks while binge-watching my favourite comfort shows (self-care counts as research, right?).

I’m always up for a challenge and love building genuine connections with every person who sits in my chair. For me, it’s not just about great hair—it’s about creating a relaxed, welcoming space where clients feel seen and leave feeling amazing.
