Keeping in with our beautiful coastal town, we’ve designed our hair salon with nature in mind. You’ll feel right at home, relaxing in a non-pretentious environment, while we pamper your hair using only the best professional and natural based products.

To minimise our environmental footprint, we’re proud to be a sustainable salon partner. 95% of our salon waste is recycled by Sustainable Salons, with the proceeds funding meals through Ozharvest for those in need.

You can be assured that we’ve put measures in place to adhere to the new social distancing regulations.

Our open-plan salon has …

Chairs, situated comfortably apart to keep you safe.
All our basins and chairs are thoroughly disinfected between clients to minimise risk.
You’ll be asked to wash your hands when you arrive at the salon, and if you’re feeling unwell, please rebook your appointment to keep us all safe and healthy.
If you need to squash in some work while your hair is being transformed, you’re more than welcome to bring your laptop and use our complimentary wi-fi.

Couldn’t be happier with my hair, service and studio, all staff were a delight to be around, a bunch of truly beautiful people. The studio was very clean and their chairs where very comfortable (even having charging ports in the chair you sit in to rinse your hair, also hands down the most comfortable chairs to have your rinsed in!) Shailey did my hair and was absolutely lovely she made me feel so comfortable, she was very professional and is extremely talented! She went to all measures to make sure I loved my hair, she offered multiple times to see if I needed a drink & they offered plenty of options. So inlove with with my hair & would definitely go back & recommend to family and friends! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a salon, the girl power and positivity really was so nice to have that energy around me! I am very sad to right this review. Today I had to change my appointment due to a change in a delivery from bay island transport coming to 12.30 pm instead of the morning. I wasn't notified by bay island transport I called them at 8.30 to check everything was OK to find it wasn't. I am sure other island clients will understand. I said I could come after 4pm. I rang the colorshack as soon as they opened and even though I have been a regular client since they opened in redland bay they wanted to charge me a rescheduling fee to re-book of 35 aud. Needless to say I was very disappointed as the circumstances were beyond my control. So beware. Even though I regularly spend between 200 to 300 a visit my business was not valued I was advised by the manager that if I try to book there again this fee would be added to my bill. Please note I have not cancelled or rescheduled before at short notice, plus I did tried to reschedule later in the day.

I went in to get 3 rows of wefts taken out and re-done! I got the lovely HANNAH and boy did she deliver! I had a terrible experience with the mob who initially put them in and Hannah was able to turn the matted mess into luscious locks! The atmosphere was friendly and all staff had a smile and were professional!! Highly recommend this salon
